Jeff
L. Rankin, President
Jeff is a native of Western Washington and has been a resident
of Gig Harbor for more than 20 Years, he has been in the roofing
industry for more than 24 years. Working first as an Installation
technician, then field superintendent, then General Superintendent,
and finally into executive positions in Sales and Administration,
and ultimately as President & CEO of CRS, Inc. which he
has held for the past (15) years.
Jeff is passionate about the Relationships he has with his
Staff, vendors, and clients alike, and continues to try and
improve on an already exceptional team of professionals at
CRS, Inc.
Jeff is a member of The National Roofing Contractor’s
Association, The Construction Specifications Institute, National
Association of Home Builders, GAF Best Practices Group, and
the CT Professional Roofing Advisory Council, among several
other trade and industry organizations.
Jeff’s passions are many, but none greater than his
family. His Wife, Belinda and two young daughters are the source
of his greatest joy. Jeff and his Brother/business partner
Steve Rankin enjoy an exceptionally close relationship, inside
and outside of the office. Outside of the Roofing Industry
Jeff is an emphatic and experienced Alpine Skier and remains
a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America, he
particularly values the many close friendships he has with
his “Ski Buddies” at Crystal Mountain, and the
OYE fraternal downhill ski organization. In addition to skiing
Jeff enjoys Snowmobiling, Yachting, Personal Watercraft, Mountain
Biking, Landscaping (With Belinda), watching his Daughters
excel at sports, and any time spent in the Mountains in Winter,
or on the Water in Summer.
Steve
Rankin, Owner/Vice President & Project
Manager for the Low Slope Division and our Architectural Sheetmeal Division

Steve has extensive experience in roofing, entering the
field at just 17 years old. After spending two years learning
wood framing for multi-family buildings, he was hired on at
a large roofing company in Tacoma where he worked as a field
superintendent. He and his brother Jeff entered the roofing
business together in 1992, working out of Jeff’s garage
with only two trucks, two ladders, and one air compressor.
Steve is Vice President and the Project Manager for the Low
Slope Division and our Metal Division. He strives for excellence in every aspect of
his projects and teaches his employees the importance of attention
to detail. He is compassionate about his employees and his customers
and is adamant about doing a job right the first time.
Steve is married and has two beautiful girls. He enjoys spending
time with his family, snowmobiling, dirt biking,
and woodworking.
Victor Barajas, Steep Slope/Architectural Shingle Division Project Manager
Victor has worked for CRS for 10 years. He entered
the field as a composition roofer and has worked his way
up to project management for the Steep
Slope/Architectural Shingle Division of
CRS.
Born in Mexico and raised in Bakersfield, California,
Victor moved to Washington 15 years ago where he met
his wife. They've been married 14 years. Victor enjoys bike
riding and is often found participating in local races and
Seattle/Portland rides. He enjoys family gatherings and movie
nights with his wife and two children.
Martha
Buttlar, Comptroller
Martha (Marti) has been with CRS for 8 years and is our Comptroller. She is responsible for our accounting department, human resources, marketing, office administrator and general office needs. She has over 20 years experience in the accounting industry, as well as more than 15 years in human resources and office management. She is a Notary Public and belongs to the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
Marti has lived in various states
due to growing up as an Air Force daughter and then a Navy
wife. She relocated to Washington in 1995 from Hawaii, but
spent the majority of her childhood in Pensacola, Florida.
She is married to a retired Navy Commander who presently works
as a Gas Free Engineer at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
She lives in Bremerton. Her passions
are her family, friends, love of music, photography and traveling. Her son Preston Wayne blessed her with the first grandchild, Kennady Rae Carson on March 31, 2009. Marti is looking forward to spoiling her as much as possible.
